FILM MAKER:

A movie maker is someone who plans, directs, films, and edits a movie or video project. They may work alone or with a team and can have different roles, such as:
  • Director (guides the story and actors)
  • Producer ( organizes the budget and schedule)
  • Cinematographer ( handles the camera and lighting)
  • Editor (assembles and polishes the footage)

In short, a movie maker is a storyteller who uses film to express ideas and emotions.

So I’m more interested in being a cinematographer because this is my vision of making films, I just want to make it alive, I don’t see myself organizing the budget or guiding the actors. The cinematographer is a man that turns the director’s vision into reality. He control lighting, camera angles, framing, and movement. He has to chose what is the best for the smooth running of the film. One of his multiple job is to manage the camera crew and the light team. He has to be creative and must possess exceptional management abilities.

GAME DESIGNER

A Game Designer is the person who imagines and plans how a video game works. He creates the rules, the goals, the characters, and the way players interact with the game world. His job is to create the perfect game experience for the player.
He usually works with programmers, who make his ideas functional, and with graphic artists and sound designers, who create the visual and audio elements of the game. The Game Designer writes design documents that describe every element of gameplay in detail.
He must test prototypes and adjust the mechanics until the game feels right. He collaborates closely with the project manager to meet deadlines and respect the vision of the studio.
The Game Designer is responsible for the coherence of the game universe and the player experience. Creativity, communication, and analytical thinking are essential skills for this role.
